Juggle

I'm not sure when I learned to juggle but probably around 15 years old. I figured it out by myself by rolling up socks and then practicing over a bed. I knew that you have two hands and three balls so you have to have one ball in the air and one in each hand.

Juggling has taught me the following lessons:
  • I can learn to do anything if I practice
  • People with great skills have practiced a lot
  • I know how to learn a new skill from learning how to juggle
  • I know how to teach others from teaching people to juggle
  • Juggling has helped me be more creative
  • The importance of breaking down the complex into simpler items
  • The importance of focusing on one thing at a time
  • The ability to quickly switch focus back and forth
  • Given me confidence that I can excel at anything I put my mind to
  • Taught me to not quit
  • Learning hard things take time
