Navigation Overview

Hierarchy or Tree Structure
Listi is a bunch of lists you or others create in a hierarchy structure.

Each list can have sublists.

Your top list is at the top of your hierarchy and is the parent of the items in the list.

Navigating a website with 100s of pages can be difficult but it's one of Listi's strengths.

List Id aka Parent

Each list has an id associated with it. You can use this id in many places to go directly to a list.

There are a number of ways to move around and go to a list.
  • Nav Menu
  • Top Nav
  • Footer
  • Nav commands
    • /top - goes to your top list
    • /up - goes up one level
  • Clicking Breadcrumb link
  • Go directly to a list via a shortcut you've set up
  • User Subheader
  • Search
  • Move to a sublist
    • Click the list
    • n link
    • nm shortcut where m = line number

Each list has a specific number associated with it, know as a parent. If you save the URL to a bookmark you can go directly to it.

    The following are most useful:
  • Go directly to the list using the list number where it says parent=12345
  • Create a link in a sub-header
  • Add a shortcut to the list
  • Search for the item
  • Create an item in a list can navigate somewhere
  • Comment part of a list can be used to navigate
  • Create a hyperlink using the HTML < a href...> tag
  • Create a link using the Listi < l:text,URL> tag
